Das ist die Frage... ist es eine Standard-F/A-18, ist sie einsitzig und der Typ wäre der Pilot. Ist es die F/A-18B, wäre der Typ der Co-Pilot. Ist es die F/A-18D, wäre der Typ ein Waffensystemoffizier.

Daher vermute ich fast, dass das der Pilot ist.

Yes it has Russian Insigna on it but it is not a Russian jet. The F/A-18 is part of the VFA-204 an aggressor squadron known as the „River Rattlers.“ They basicly play the bad guy in practice and the paint scheme is there to make the dog fight more realistic. I do not believe that the particular jet that this was filmed in was an E/A-18 because it seems to be missing quite a bit of the pods on the aircraft to ho,d all of the electronics, although it does look like it has a bit of radar jamming capabilities with the wingtip pods. That and why would an aggressor squadron need an E/A-18 for dog fight practice.
